Coveting Now: Simple yet Lovely

I love everything about this photo - the bun, the color and textures in the necklaces, the shirt falling off the shoulder. Just lovely. Just lovely.

Monday Memos: Puffy Jackets

Possibilities:
French Connection
The Gap
J.Crew

vs. Dreams
Moncler
Burberry

I am in the market for a new pouf. I have always owned a trusty Patagonia jacket but I think this time though around I may opt for something a little more fashionable. It still needs to be uber warm and it can't be ridiculously expensive. Actually, it can't even be expensive so that may throw this whole mission off but I will browse all the same. Apparently we are to receive our first Winter Blast 2011 this coming week so I want to be prepared right? (Sadly, the reality is that I should just buy myself a real and true raincoat cause that's what I am going need most of all this Fall/Winter. A search for another day perhaps)

P.S. Since writing this post, I went along and purchased a Patagonia puffy jacket after all. If I'm going to spend that kind of money on a jacket, I want to know that it will last forever. And I discovered that I fit a kid's XL which slashed the price down considerably. AND it was in a color that I love and it is just long enough to feel a little fashiony.

From MonkeysAlwaysLook - I ordered two if these rings, one with each kid's name on it.  I wanted a way to carry them around with me at all times without being too showy, just a subtle reminder and these fit the bill perfectly. She makes them in silver too but I wanted something a little different so I bought mine in copper.  They just arrived today and I am in love.

Ok. Ok. I admit it. It's Fall and it's COLD.  Time for cozy cowl neck scarves like these

The Quinny Zapp.  After trying a variety of double strollers, I concluded that they were all just too heavy, too bulky and too much of a pain in the butt. Since I had already sold my MacLaren single, I ventured off into new territory - the Quinny Zapp.  It is AWESOME. It folds up super small and is easy to handle on sidewalks. My oldest is way into her bike these days so she doesn't seem to mind not riding in the stroller. I bring along the Ergo too just in case.

Cozy flannel pj's from Jcrew. They, of course, make these look almost sexy where as we all know what they really look like...at 11AM on a Sunday. Not so hot but still soooo comfy.
I bought these boots for my niece who is turning 1 next week. It was incredibly hard to find shoes with a rubber sole in size 2 - but happened across these at my fav kid's consignment store.

Summer cobblers! yum yum yum. From FineCooking

Simple Up-dos: Diane Kruger's side bun is prefect for any season.

Stella McCartney (image unknown) I believe she is pregnant in the photo but the simpleness of the outfit but the color combo is fantastic. And she looks likes she isn't wearing any makeup which is impressive!

Regular and kids sized Baggu bags. Perfect for throwing in your bag or purse for on the go grocery shopping.
